Your Horoscope Already Knows Why You Quit the Gym - Don’t Blame the Trainer, Check Your Grahas - Vinayak Bhatt
Horoscope Already Knows Why You Quit the Gym

In Jyotish, the body is not simply “Mars = muscles.” That is kindergarten astrology. The Lagna gives the body, Mars gives the power to push it, Saturn gives the capacity to repeat the same boring exercise for months, the 3rd house gives effort, the 6th house makes you fight laziness every morning, and the 11th house finally gives the gains. Perhaps the word “GAIN” was invented by an astrologer.

The real problem is that everybody wants a strong Mars body, but many people are living a Venus lifestyle. They want six-pack abs, but Venus says, “One rasmalai will not change destiny.” Then Jupiter enters and says, “Take two. I represent expansion.” Moon says, “I am emotionally disturbed today. We need comfort food.” Mercury watches twenty videos titled “Best Workout for Beginners” but still does not enter the gym.

Rahu is different. Rahu buys protein powder, creatine, gym gloves, smartwatch, special shoes and three different supplements, and after seven days declares, “This gym is not giving results.”

Ketu is even more dangerous. He goes to the gym without attachment to results, and sometimes without remembering which exercise he came to do.

But the most interesting graha is Saturn. Saturn does not care whether you are motivated. Mars may give enthusiasm for ten days. Sun may make you upload the mirror selfie. Rahu may make you buy the most expensive gym membership. But Saturn quietly asks, “Will you still come here after six months?” This is why Mars may start the transformation, but Saturn is the one who actually changes the body.

Now think like a Jyotishi. Suppose two people both have strong Mars. One trains consistently for five years. The other buys a yearly gym membership every January and disappears by February. Should we only judge Mars? Or should we examine Mars, Saturn, the 3rd house, 6th house and Lagna together?

My working observation is simple: Mars shows how intensely you can train, Saturn shows how long you can continue, Moon shows how mood affects your routine, Venus shows where diet negotiations begin, Jupiter shows where “growth” may become slightly excessive, Rahu shows obsession, and Lagna shows where the final result has to appear.

Now I want Jyotish students to test this on their own charts. Comment your Lagna, position of Mars, Saturn and 6th lord, and tell me honestly which category you belong to:

Mars type – gym every day,

Saturn type – slow but consistent,

Venus type – gym tomorrow, dessert today, Mercury type – watching fitness reels counts as exercise, or

Rahu type – ₹20,000 supplements and ₹0 consistency.

And I am especially waiting for astrologers who prescribe remedies to everyone but cannot prescribe 20 squats to themselves.
