White Sapphire Gemstone Archives

White Sapphire- Know Your Gem White Sapphire Vedic astrology recommends 9 gemstones, one for each plan among navagraha. These nine gemstones are called Rubs Pearl, Yellow Sapphire, White Sapphire or Diamond, Red Coral, Emerald, Blue Sapphire, Hessonite and Cat’s Eye, and they are worn for Sun, Moon, Jupiter, Venus, Mars, Mercury, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu respectively. Through this series of articles we will look at certain characteristics possessed by each one of these gemstones and in the present article, we will discuss some important things about White Sapphire, which is the gemstone associated with Venus.Venus as we know is an important planet in each horoscope and the nature as well as the strength of Venus can vary from horoscope to horoscope, which means that in some horoscopes, Venus may be very strong, it may be having average strength in some horoscopes and it may be weak or very weak in some other horoscopes. The strength of Venus is measured by various methods available in Vedic astrology though some astrologers and people interested in astrology still think that the presence of Venus in a particular sign is the only factor that can affect the strength of Venus in a horoscope. This is not true as there are many factors, which can affect the strength, or weakness of Venus in a horoscope and the placement of Venus in a particular sign is just one of them. When , Venus can sometimes weaken in a horoscope because it is in its sign of weakening due to the suffering of one or more malefic Planets in the horoscope, due to the low settlement in certain horoscope houses and various other factors. When Venus weakens in a horoscope, it is unable to protect its general meanings, as well as specifically, and therefore, the native can see mediocre results or bad one or fewer good results related to the significances of Venus. When Venus so weak works as a useful planet in a horoscope, this weak Venus should be given more power to start working properly in the horoscope and it may protect its significances. This results in good things happening to the native in various spheres of his life. This additional strength is obtained with the help of a special gem called White Sapphire, which carries the energy of Venus from the planet itself to the body of the native who wears this gemstone. The diamond is called Heerak in Sanskrit, Heera in Hindi, while the white sapphire is called Shwet Pukhraaj or Safed Pukhraaj. Though both Diamond and White Sapphire are recommended for Venus and though many astrologers prefer Diamond to White Sapphire, White Sapphire is a better option for Venus in most cases. This is due to the reason that not all the Diamonds belong to Venus on isolate basis, which means that many Diamonds may transfer the energy of some other planets also, along with the energy of Venus, into the body of the wearer.Apart from this, the energy radiations transferred by Diamond are sometimes more intense than a native can handle as Diamond has a tendency to intensify the originally captured energy radiations of Venus, before transferring such energy radiations into the body of the wearer. The above-mentioned two aspects make Diamond a difficult choice for most natives and hence White Sapphire should be worn as the gemstone of Venus as a White Sapphire does not produce any of the side effects mentioned above. This gemstone captures the energy of Venus from its upper surface and it transfers this energy into the body of the native who wears it. The extra energy of Venus transmitted by the white sapphire in the native body gives Venus additional power and begins to work harder the horoscope, body as well as the Aura of the native. It should be noted that a White Sapphire is only capable of increasing the strength of Venus inside the body and Aura of a native by transferring additional energy of Venus and this gem cannot change the nature of Venus’s work in a horoscope. It means that if Venus is working positively or Venus is benefic in a horoscope, wearing this gemstone will increase the strength of Venus and as such positive Venus gains strength, it will start producing good results for the native with increased quantum and frequency. On the other hand, if Venus has a negative effect, which means that Venus is malefic in the chart, bringing the gem will give additional strength to negative Venus and as it gains strength, it will start causing problems and losses for the native with increased strength and quantum. Therefore, care must be taken to ensure that only these people use this gem, that they have a Venus in their horoscopes, while the natives have a malefic Venus in your horoscope, you should not wear white sapphire because using this gem can cause serious problems in many areas of your life.Looking at the composition of this gemstone, White Sapphire belongs to the family of corundum, which is a type of family of gemstones, and this gemstone should be colorless to be a white sapphire that adds a touch of any other color, this gemstone changes from white sapphire to another sapphire. For example, a little hint of yellow in this gemstone will make it a light colored Yellow Sapphire, which is a gemstone for Jupiter and not a gemstone for Venus. The color and clarity of this gemstone are 2 important aspects to look for when purchasing a White Sapphire though color and clarity are not the only aspects which decide the quality of this gemstone and there are many other aspects which can affect the final quality and efficiency of this gemstone.Hence, it is very difficult for a common person to test or check the exact quality of a White Sapphire but even then, making a check for proper color and proper clarity can still make a difference in the kind of gemstone you are going to purchase. It should be noted that the different colors of the white sapphire may be appropriate for the different natives and, therefore, each native must use a white sapphire that belongs to a color, which has been recommended by his astrologer. Changing the color of this gem against the recommendation of your astrologer can cause side effects that may continue to bother you with the benefits, even if the change in color of this gem alone probably does not cause this gem to cause negative effects for you, so Venus is very useful in your horoscope.Hence due attention should be paid to the color of your White Sapphire when purchasing this gemstone. Special attention should be paid to the weight of this gem, which is recommended by your astrologer, and it is strongly recommended to use a white sapphire and the weight range recommended by your astrologer as changing the weight of this gemstone with your own discretion or on the advice of your jeweler can bring unwanted and unwelcome results for you.For example, using a white sapphire that is much lighter than the weight of this gem recommended by your astrologer can not produce significant results or any results at all In general, while using a white sapphire that has a weight much higher than the weight of this gem, your astrologer can cause slight or serious side effects. In some extreme cases, it can also produce negative effects due to the native not being able to handle so much extra energy of Venus, which has been transferred into his body through this gemstone. Therefore, you should pay special attention to the weight of the white sapphire, which your astrologer recommends when buying this gem.Vedic astrology advises you to perform certain procedures before using a white sapphire, which may include steps such as cleaning and energizing this gem. The processes of cleaning and energizing a white sapphire are technical processes and only experts who know the correct procedures to perform these processes should guide them. Once the natives have purified and energized their white sapphire in a ring or pendant, the next step is to use this gemstone which also involves some specific procedures.Vedic astrology recommends that a White Sapphire should be worn on a Friday morning when the native is wearing this gemstone for the first time in his life. Before using a white sapphire on Friday morning, the native should give him this gem in Ganga-jal (Ganges river water) or a mixture of raw milk and pure water about 8 to 12 hours before the time of wearing this gemstone, which comes out to be Thursday evening in most cases as this gemstone is recommended to be worn on a Friday morning. The native should take his bath on Friday morning, say his prayers and then he should sit or stand in front of the ring or pendant and he should first chant Mool Mantra or Beej mantra of Venus for 108 times or 27 times and then he should pray to god Venus and ask him to provide best possible results from this gemstone. Next, the natives should take the ring or the white sapphire pendant, should rinse it with clean water, if it should be given in a mixture of unboiled milk and water, then he should wipe it with a clean cloth and after completing all these procedures, the native should wear his White Sapphire ring.It should be noted that a White Sapphire should be worn on a Friday morning and this gemstone should not be worn on a Friday evening for the first. This can cause unwanted side effects or initial problems for the native. However, once this gem is used, the natives must use it for the rest of their lives unless their astrologer indicates otherwise.
