Can I Become a Good Astrologer? In Bhrigu Nandi Nadi, one yoga alone cannot make a good astrologer. We must see how Jupiter, Mercury, Ketu, Moon, Venus, Saturn and the Sun connect with each other, and which planet leads the sequence by degree. These planetary combinations are strictly as per the Principles of Bhrigu Nandi Nadi Jupiter + Ketu+ Mercury - can give interest in astrology, hidden knowledge and spiritual subjects. Jupiter gives Shastra, Ketu gives intuition/spirituality and Mercury gives calculation and communication. If Jupiter guides this combination, the person uses knowledge properly. Without Jupiter’s strength, the native may collect many techniques but lack clear judgement. - If Jupiter comes first by degree, followed by Ketu and then Mercury, the person receives traditional knowledge, enters deeply into hidden subjects and later develops the ability to explain that knowledge. Such a person may become a serious teacher of astrology, mantra, tantra, philosophy or spiritual sciences. - If Ketu comes first and connects with Jupiter, the person may carry an unexplained attraction towards astrology from a young age. He may feel that he already knows certain principles, even before receiving formal training. - But if Mercury comes before Jupiter and Ketu, the person may begin with calculation, books and techniques, and only later develop spiritual understanding. Without Jupiter’s guidance, Mercury and Ketu can also make the person collect many techniques without understanding their proper purpose. Other prominent combinations are- Jupiter + Moon + Venus - gives counselling ability. Moon understands the client’s emotions, Jupiter gives guidance and Venus gives softness in speech. Such an astrologer does not only read the chart; he understands the person sitting before him. Sun + Mercury + Jupiter + Ketu- can create a spiritual teacher who explains the reason behind karma. But if the Sun or Rahu dominates Jupiter, pride, fame and the desire for followers may pollute the knowledge. A true astrologer needs Jupiter’s wisdom, Mercury’s clarity, Ketu’s intuition, Moon’s sensitivity, Venus’s grace, Saturn’s patience and the Sun’s courage. The horoscope gives the potential.
