Hanuman Chalisa and Bhrigu Nandi Nadi

There is a deep spiritual reason why Tulsidas ji wrote Hanuman Chalisa and why millions chant it daily with devotion. Now, what if we look at Hanuman Chalisa not only with bhakti, but through the eyes of Jyotish? Especially from the lens of Bhrigu Nandi Nadi — the deepest karma-based system of astrology.

Let us understand how each line of the Hanuman Chalisa vibrates with the principles of BNN and teaches us lessons as astrologers.

“Mahabir Bikram Bajrangi, Kumati Nivaar Sumati Ke Sangi”

Every BNN student is taught — observe Mars and Jupiter together, especially when they surround Mercury. When Mars is behind and Jupiter is ahead of Mercury, the mind becomes brave, intelligent, and karmically blessed. This is exactly what this line says.

Hanuman ji was “Bajrang Bali” — a strong Mars energy. But he was also “Sumati ke Sangi” — meaning in friendship with Jupiter. This is the secret. Raw energy (Mars) + Divine Wisdom (Jupiter) = Protection from foolishness (bad Mercury karma).

BNN Rule: If Mars is ahead of Mercury and Jupiter is behind — native may take impulsive decisions. But if Jupiter is ahead, wisdom saves. Hanuman Chalisa teaches this as a prayer and a karma-reminder.

“Bhoot Pishach Nikat Nahi Aave, Mahabir Jab Naam Sunave”

Many astrologers don’t understand how to predict invisible karmic afflictions — badha, bhaya, or graha dosha. In Bhrigu Nandi Nadi, if Rahu is behind Moon, or Ketu is behind Mercury, and there’s no Venus or Jupiter ahead — the chart shows fear, illusion, or spirit attacks.

Hanuman Chalisa teaches that invoking Mahabir (Hanuman — Mars + Sun + Jupiter energy) removes these afflictions. In Nadi, this same principle is used — by strengthening the planet ahead of the afflicted karaka.

Spiritual application becomes Jyotish technique. You don’t just chant Chalisa — you understand the logic behind how karmas get cleared.

“Ashta Siddhi Nau Nidhi Ke Daata”

This line shows us the power of exalted Jupiter with Venus or Mercury. In BNN, if Jupiter is ahead of Venus and Moon is supporting from the side — it creates yogas for hidden knowledge (Siddhi) and material prosperity (Nidhi).

Most students think Siddhi means miracle. No. In astrology, Siddhi means “mastery of a planet’s karaka area”. If you have control over your Mercury (speech, logic, trade) — you have Budhi Siddhi. If you have spiritual control over your Moon — Manas Siddhi.

Hanuman Chalisa is teaching the inner astrological Siddhis.

Hanuman Chalisa is a poetic version of karmic protection principles. Bhrigu Nandi Nadi is the astrological version of the same. Both teach us how to become karma-yogis, how to protect our mind, and how to help others heal.

One is devotion. One is technique. But both are Truth.

If you want to learn BNN, start with Chalisa.

If you want to understand Chalisa, study BNN.

Let them walk hand-in-hand.

Jai Hanuman Gyaan Gun Saagar

May our Jyotish journey become as fearless and powerful as Hanuman himself.
